Thursday's R Open Mic Nites
Monday Night
Open Mic
at The Venue

Each Monday night folks at the The Venue set the stage, turn on the sound system and stage lights. Then, they open the doors to the area’s performing artists ~ inviting them to take the stage and share their artistic expressions with others. We also invite the public to come watch, listen, and applaud the performers. The setting is intimate and supportive; intended for people serious about art - “It isn’t about food and drink; it’s about what’s happenin’ on the stage” – It’s about new artists having a safe place to perform for the first time – It’s about veteran artists having a place to experiment and try out new pieces – It’s about having a place that inspires new work – It’s about a lot of things – Come check it out any Monday night – you’ll see.  With Jorge Mendez hosting, every Monday night open mic is a special event!
